And so the story of his Logos , I would love to tell that story . I do n’t know if you experience , but his son , who ’s the youngest in the show , Bennie , the short male child , he ends up arresting much later in life for murder and went and pursue his Word because he was disquieted that during the earned run average of Jim Crow , that he would be killed in the operation of arrest , and so take it upon himself to peacefully catch his own son and institute him into Fort Smith . That ’s a story I would jazz to tell apart . There ’s a Black felon named Bob Dozier who had a real cat - and - mouse - eccentric relationship with Bass , that would razz Bass , that I would love to search that . There ’s plenty of stories that I ’d love to secernate , and again , if David is game , sign me up .
Should The Lawmen Franchise Focus On Bass Reeves Or Other Stories?
As its Golden Globe designation indicates , Lawmen : Bass Reevesis currently planned to be a standalone season . While theLawmen : Bass Reevesendingleft the door ajar for more stories , the show came to such a satisfying finis that a time of year 2 would not be necessary . Feehan ’s ideas , however , are challenging , hinting that the show could still proceed .
TheLawmen : Bass Reevesteam has previously hint season 1 could be the first entry in an anthology series .
