After having no luck for most of the day , the culprit is revealed to be a Polteageist that somehow wandered aboard , and this Polteageist has a pearl to pick with the crew ’s Shuckle .
Captain Pikachu interpret the challenge and invites Polteageist down below deck , where a roundabout of Pokémon are waiting . Captain Pikachu signals to Shuckle and Polteageist that they may oppose it out here , and the two right away square off .
Pokémon Horizons ' English dub has not yet been free , but is supposedly due before the close of 2023 .
Captain Pikachu Runs His Own Fight Club InPokémon Horizons
Given that most of the Pokémon aboard the ship are part of this club ( include Terapagos ) , the episode gives the impression that this is a regular occurrence aboard the dirigible . Polteageist and Shuckle really start their duel as if they ’re box , with Polteageist putting up its fists and Shuckle its tentacle . The place intensify , however , and Shuckle terminate up using a move that looks like rollout , which hit at first , but finally misses Polteageist and break apart into a freight crate of berry . While they ab initio seem to want to continue struggle , the wall Pokémon cheer wildly , with Polteageist having make their respect .
The idea of a Pokémon fight night club is decidedly a weird one , but it does seem to indicate just how much Pokémon love fighting . WhilePokémonis sometimes criticized for having the puppet struggle one another , it ’s clear here that they simply have a legitimate enjoyment of set their skill to the test against one another , whether humans are convoluted or not . Still , running a fight clubis certainly something that one would never see Ash ’s Pikachu doing , further branch the character of Captain Pikachu from his predecessor . Ash ’s Pikachu was often a peacemaker between the other Pokémon , whereas Cap here has decided that lease them struggle it out is what ’s best for Polteageist and Shuckle .
Captain Pikachu decidedly brings a whole young attitudeto the electric mouse , with a rougher , uptight personality than that of the very family - favorable Pikachu that go to Ash . In the end , though , he ’s still a Pikachu , so there ’s only so much boundary he can in reality have . The contrast between Cap ’s personality and visual aspect is decidedly a crowing part of the character , though , and this Pokémon fighting club is just another way to amplify that contrast . One ca n’t avail but wonder what other kinds of bizarre shenanigansCaptain Pikachumight get up to in future episodes ofPokémon Horizons .
