Kingdom of Heaven , I removed 17 minutes and should n’t have , which was the dilemma of the Princess of Jerusalem who observe her Logos had leprosy . So that lead that whole story sideways , and ate up 17 hour of the flick . But to me , it just made the movie more meaty . And I get rid of it to get the history flying , and I rue it . But now I watch it and I think , wow , that ’s good . Pretty good .
Kingdom of Heaven The Director’s Cut Restored Scott’s Original Vision
Kingdom of Heavencost $ 135 million to make and only grossed $ 218 million , a dissatisfactory issue in the Wake Island of Scott’sGladiator , and presently sit down at just 40 % on Rotten Tomatoes . Back in the land of historic epic poem withNapoleon , Scott is again showing his passion for depicting the past through sprawling storytelling , but again , he may not be entirely glad with the theatrical edition of the photographic film , as he ’s hint at the existence of a 4 - time of day cut . It ’s yet to be seen whether Scott ’s latest visual modality of the past is view as a boxful part hit or a box office bomb , but if it does flop , the director again has a longer cut waiting in the wings , one that may give a truer common sense of his visual sense .
